Our Service Packages
Your particular needs and circumstances will no doubt vary from those of the next person. You may wish to have a very proactive involvement with your finances, or prefer to take a more relaxed approach. What this means is that while everyone's finances are important, not all clients have the same service needs.
Southern Cross Financial Planning offers three levels of ongoing service for superanuation investment clients. Clients who engage us only for insurance services will generally default to the Essentials service package.
Your Southern Cross advisor will help you decide which of the following service packages are best suited to your individual requirements. The criteria used to decide which level is the most appropriate for you is based on:
- 1. The level of contact and involvement you would like to engage us on with your affairs
- 2. The complexity of your financial circumstances
As the name implies, this package is for those who require only basic ongoing guidance, advice and service.
You will be invited to meet with your adviser for a 2 year annual review and have your updated portfolio report prepared for you then. This is the time that any changes to your strategy can be made, and you can update your adviser on any changes to your circumstances. It may be necessary to prepare a new Statement of Advice if you require assistance in any areas not already covered by this service package. You will receive our regular newsletter updates and have access to our customer support staff to assist you with enquiries relating to the administration of your specific investments.
This is the most popular package for those who would like to take an active role in understanding and managing their finances.
In addition to your comprehensive 2 yearly annual review and year round telephone and email access to your adviser, you will be invited to participate in our regular seminars discussing a wide variety of financial matters, keeping you up to date on what is happening in the financial world and how it relates to your own investments. Should you require any changes, modifications or updates to your portfolio they will be addressed at your scheduled review, and any new strategies not covered in this ongoing programme may require the preparation of a new Statement of Advice.
Our Private Client package is the service package designed for investors who want to develop a personal working relationship with their advisor.
It is typically chosen by those with larger sums invested, or complex or multiple strategies that require close ongoing attention. You will be provided with six-monthly reviews and updated comprehensive portfolio reports, as well as year round telephone and email access to your personal advisor. The Private Client service includes invitations to participate in all our annual seminars and economic updates from industry experts, providing you with up to date information relating to your investments and future options or opportunities. We encourage private clients to draw on their advisors experience and input on any financial transactions, not just those managed directly by us.
